København

When I went to a lecture at the beginning of the semester we were given a pretty accurate acrostic on the characteristics of Danish people:

DENMARK

D - Deliverers, Developers
E - Environmentally Friendly
N - Nordic
M - Materialistic, Modern
A - Active (Hard Working)
R - Respectful
K - Kind

Here are some pictures from the time that I spent in Copenhagen.

Italy Part 4: Florence

On the last day of James, Stephen and my Italy trip we went to to Florence Italy, the heart of the Renaissance.  In the course of one day we were able to visit the Uffizi gallery, the cathedral complex with the famous Dome, Baptistery and Campanile, the Academia gallery, Sante Croce, and Ponte Vecchio.  Each of these places cost about 5 Eruo to get into.  (Just in case you ever decide to visit Florence).  With no further ado, here are the pictures.

Italy Part 3: Montepulciano

On one of the days during out Italy Trip, James, Stephen and I visited the small town of Montepulciano, located just about an hour south of Florence in Tuscany for some wine tasting and a change of pace from some of the more "touristy" cities.  The city was located on a hill and surrounded by fields and vineyards.  It had a very serene atmosphere and is definitely a place that I would recommend to any one planning an Italy trip.  At the end of the day we took took a short drive outside of the town to visit a place that had natural hot springs.  I hope you enjoy the pictures and get a small taste of Montepucliano.
