On one of the days during out Italy Trip, James, Stephen and I visited the small town of Montepulciano, located just about an hour south of Florence in Tuscany for some wine tasting and a change of pace from some of the more "touristy" cities. The city was located on a hill and surrounded by fields and vineyards. It had a very serene atmosphere and is definitely a place that I would recommend to any one planning an Italy trip. At the end of the day we took took a short drive outside of the town to visit a place that had natural hot springs. I hope you enjoy the pictures and get a small taste of Montepucliano.
